This is mostly in the FAQ right now. Also see the table of proposed permissions groups on Rhaptos permissions discussion.

Cool tip from the mailing lists:

You can link to specific ranges of code. The simplest way is by specifying the starting line number with, e.g., #L50. Appended to your code URL, it scrolls the page down to the line you specify. Example: ModuleVersionFolder.py#L50

You can also highlight ranges with constructs like ?marks=78-80,96-99. If it's a ways down the file and the highlighted part doesn't show on the screen upon load, combine it with the line specification at top, and voila. ?marks=78-80,96-99#L65

Wiki macros

There are various macros you can put in wikis; this one, for instance, will list, right there in the wiki, the ID and summary of all the closed tickets in the ni-lenses milestone. [[TicketQuery(milestone=ni-lenses&status=closed)]]

Easier way to include a bit of HTML formatting

From Trac ticket #2048: add a div and a span built-in wiki processors.

You can wrap a block of Trac wiki stuff in an HTML div, and give the div a class and/or a style, thusly:

  {{{
  #!div class=important style="background: #ffaaaa"
  This text would have class important, and have a pink background.
  }}}

You can also get a span like this: [[span(Text to make important and pink, class=important, style=background:#ffaaaa)]]. Note that the span arguments don't support quoting for now, so you can't put spaces in your style attribute.

Cleaning users out from the dropdown

From the trac-users ML, here are the tables you need to touch to inactivate a user.

DELETE FROM session WHERE sid IN ('bob', 'mary', 'joe');
DELETE FROM session_attribute WHERE sid IN ('bob', 'mary', 'joe');
DELETE FROM auth_cookie WHERE name IN ('bob', 'mary', 'joe');
DELETE FROM permission WHERE username IN ('bob', 'mary', 'joe');

Removing anonymous ticket spam

There's a script in svn, in scripts/servermanagement, called "tracdespam". It displays a list of anonymous tickets that have come in through the ReportABug interface on cnx.org, and gives you the option of deleting them. Full documentation for tracdespam is in my scripts documentation area.
